| | So what a truly wounderful week that was the 12th through the 18th.
On Tuesday it was super nice in the ole STP, so the news crews were out doing there stupid "How is the warm weather benefiting businesses?" stories. So Fox 9 decided to roll over to the creamery and interview my co-worker Nikkita and I, and they showed us on the 9pm news!
On Wednesday I was typing away on my Mac Book Pro when I noticed my click pad wasn't working, and I couldn't really type. So I turned it off and flipped it over, and to my horror the battery had started to expand or melt, and the metal casing had started to peel off. So I high tailed it to the Mac store at Rosedale and they replaced the battery for free. Later Miguel and I caught the 18+ TV on the Radio show at First Ave, I saw Jamie there and I haven't seen her in ages. TV on the Radio rocked the house, but there guitarist had a windchime on his guitar and it was kind of annoying. After the show we went back to my house and watched the Virgin Suicides, which I had never seen.
On Friday Nikkita, Miguel and I went to the Of Montreal show at First Ave. Both Nikkita and Miguel were pissed when I told them that it was going to be an all ages show, mainly because they could only drink upstairs (Heaven Forbid). So imeaditly they ditch me to go drink, and I awkwordly hung around the merch table untill I spotted Joe and Morgan, I went over and talked to them for a sec untill Nik and Miguel found me. They felt bad that I could drink so they filled half a poweraide bottle with some Purple Rain for me. After the opener finished we made our way to the center of the crowd, much to the chagrin of the many 15 year olds in attendance. So Of Montreal starts rockin out and they crowd is moving around, and about half way though the show I notice out of the corner of my eye Angie and Shannon, so I somehow make my way to them and surprise them. The show finishes and I say good bye to Nik and Miguel and run to the Train to meet up with Shannon, Angie, Nick, and Bublitz and others. I really didn't need to to run because the train didn't leave for another 30 minutes. We ride the train to the MOA and I hitch a ride with Angie to Perkins in Apple Valley. While we were eating I kept seeing people I knew, I saw mitch from SES, Rachmia from AVHS, this girl Grace that I went to Elementry school with, and I saw Nikki my ex girlfriend who I haven't seen in over a year! After that Angie and I went to Morgans house and saw Emily and Jason. After about and hour Angie took me home I fell right asleep.
And the weekend was relatively uneventful.
